高品Pin Gao,男,工学博士,副教授,硕士生导师

201110月毕业于东华大学环境科学与工程专业,东华大学、美国密歇根州立大学和杰克逊州立大学联合培养博士,毕业后留校工作至今,主要从事环境中新兴污染物污染控制及微生物转化机制方面的研究工作。

主要科研领域与研究方向

致力于环境中新兴污染物的迁变特征和污染控制研究,利用环境微生物、分子生物学等技术手段,研究新兴污染物降解与转化的微生物学机制。主要研究方向如下:

        ①新兴污染物(如抗生素药物等)厌氧微生物降解机制

        ②环境系统中抗药性基因的传播特征和水平转移机制

        ③土壤污染微生物修复机制过程

        ④新型光催化材料研发及对抗药性基因表达抑制机制

Main Research Fields

Our research interests are focused on investigating the fate and spread of emerging contaminants in the environment and developing state-of-the-art control technologies, especially on their microbially-mediated degradation and biotransformation mechanisms using tools of environmental microbiology and molecular biology. In particular,

 ①Anaerobic microbially-mediated degradation of emerging contaminants (i.e., pharmaceuticals and personal care products)

 ②Spread of antibiotic resistance genes and relevant horizontal gene transfer in natural and engineering systems

 ③Bioremediation of contaminated soils

 ④Development of photocatalytic materials for suppressing the expression of antibiotic resistance genes

We have applied >50 and authorized >30 patents mainly in the areas of physicochemical and biological wastewater treatment, soil bioremediation, photocatalytic materials, etc.

目前在读博士研究生1名(联合培养),硕士研究生6名,已毕业研究生11名。

There are now one PhD (Co-educated) and six Master students in the lab (Emerging Contaminant Pollution Control Laboratory). Very welcome graduate and undergraduate students with backgrounds of environmental science and engineering, environmental microbiology, or soil chemistry to join in.
